TORONTO / CATHOLIC SECONDARY
St. Michael’s Choir School — Secondary
The secondary division of St. Michael’s Choir School combines high-school academics with a demanding sacred-music program for boys. At its downtown Bond Street campus, music and cathedral commitments form a required part of school life. The school operates through a partnership between the Archdiocese of Toronto and TCDSB; applicants follow the Choir School’s own admission and audition process.

Coverage. We checked all 535 rated public and Catholic school records located within the City of Toronto: 274 public elementary, 72 public secondary, 155 Catholic elementary and 34 Catholic secondary. The census includes English- and French-language schools across Toronto, Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke, East York and York. Public and Catholic schools are compared separately. Unrated schools are not treated as lower-rated schools. Regional positions are calculated by Offplan Canada from the published scores; they are not a separate Fraser Institute regional ranking.
Ties. Equal scores share a regional position. To display ten profiles, ties are ordered alphabetically by the current common school name, ignoring the French École prefix. A tied school outside the ten-profile selection is named on the relevant list; it is not academically lower-ranked.
